1)Open a new scratch program

2) Click a new choose sprite and then open thing and then select the beachball .

3) Remove the cat sprite by clicking the scissor.

4) Click on the events and then select  When flag clicked and then drag it on the right side and place it there.

5) Now select the repeat until from the controls and place it under when flag clicked.

6) Now select touching from the sensing option and adjust it with repeat until and select the option of mouse pointer.

7) Select the wait from the controls and and drag it on right side and change the value to 0.1 sec.

8) Select the turn clockwise degrees from the motion and place it below the wait on right side and adjust the value to 5 degrees.

9) Now select the move steps from motion and adjust the value to 50.

10) Now select the if on edge, bounce from motion and place it below the move 50 steps.

11) Repeat 7,8,9,10 steps. Only change the value of turn clockwise degree to 15 degrees.

12) click the full screen option and ball gets bouncing by clicking on flag.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1-Open a new program in scratch.

2-Add a new sprite from library under things category of bouncing ball.

3-Delete the cat sprite.

4-Click on events and then select an drag “when flag clicked”.

5-Next click on controls and select and drag “repeat until”. Click on sensing and then select and drag “touching” next to repeat until.Select “mouse-pointer” in touching drop down menu.

6-Next click on control script and drag the “wait” and set the value to 0.1 seconds.

7-Next click on “motion” and select and drag “turn_degrees” and set the value to 5 degrees. In motion script also select and drag “move_steps” and set the value to 50 steps. Next select and drag “if on edge,bounce” in the same motion script.

8-Now repeat the steps 6 and 7 under “if on edge,bounce”.

9-Click on the full screen button and tap the flag button on top right corner. The ball will bounce according to your program.

10-Save your work to your desired location.

Step 5: Drag the shape repeat to the script area and add it on the touching mouse pointer

Step 6: Within the repeat shape select add the first option from the control menu option.Add the value ‘wait 0.1 seconds’.Then choose three options from the motion menu and turn 5 degrees towards the right,50 steps forward and if on edge bounce accordingly.

Step 7:  Repeat five and six again,making sure that all the optons selected are in the repeat option

Step 8: clicl on the start button to run the program

Step 9: Save your game as ‘bouncing bal’ in my scratch programs folder’

Instructions:

Step 1:  Open a new scratch program

Step 3: Double click on ‘Things’

Step 4: Select the thing ‘Beachball1’ and then click OK

Step 4: Next, delete the cat sprite by clicking on the scissors icon on top and then on the cat

Step 5: Now click the Events icon in the Scripts category and choose the first option ‘when flag is clicked’. Then drag it to the right side and drop it.

Step 6: Click the Control icon in the Scripts category and select ‘repeat until’. Then add ‘touching..mouse-pointer’ in the blank box.

Select a new sprite from library (things the beach ball).

Delete the Cat sprite.

In scripts option add the following instructions:

1. when flag clicked from control tab

2. repeat until from control tab

add the following instructions into repeat until tab

3. touching from sensing tab

4. wait from control tab set the value to 0.1

5.  turn clockwise from motion tab set the value 5 degrees

6. move from motion tab and set the value to 50

7. if on edge,bounce from motion tab

8.wait from control tab set the value to 0.1

9.  turn clockwise from motion tab set the value 15 degrees

10. move from motion tab and set the value to 50

11. if on edge,bounce from motion tab

Save the program.

Open a new scratch program and choose a new file from library

Click on the folder things and add a new scratch “beach ball”

Then delete the cat sprite

Enter instructions  on the bouncy ball sprite

The yellow repeat until loop will carry out all the instructions until the mouse pointer touches the bouncy ball Sprite.

Drag the option when flag is clicked in events option

Drag the option repeat until and add touching mouse pointer in control option  and sensor option

Drag the option wait and add value 0.1 sec in control option

Drag the option turn clockwise and add angle 5 in motion option

Drag the option move steps and add 50 steps in motion option

Drag the option if on edge bounce in motion option

Drag the option wait and add value 0.1 sec in control option

Drag the option turn clockwise and add angle 15 in motion option

Drag the option move steps and add 50 steps in motion option

Drag the option if on edge bounce in motion option

Then run the program by clicking flag option

Save the file

-choose startup from events

-now add repeat until touching mouse printer.

– add wait 0.1 sec from control

-from motions select turn 5 degree, then move 50 steps, then if on edge bounce,

– then add  wait 0.1 sec

-turn 15 degree , move 50 steps, if on edge bounce.

  16.  ‘If on edge’,bounce from motion tab.

5 Delete the cat sprite by clicking on the scissors and then on the cat

6 Click on events than select flag

Click on control and select repeat until now click on sensing and choose touching select mouse pointer in it

Click on control and click on wait  and enter 0.2

9 Then drag turn arrow below instruction and change value to 15.

10 Move steps instruction and change value to 50.

11 If on edge, bounce command from motion

12 Click on wait sec and change value to 0.2.

13 Drag move steps and change value to 50.

14 Add if on edge bounce

15 All of the instruction will be carried in the loop repeat until

16 Click the start button to run the program. Save the game as bouncing ball in your scratch folder.
